Friends at First glance !! First met on 27th March’ 2016 during the Holi Milan hosted by Urbana Welfare Association (UWA) inviting all Urbana flat owners with family. And it was fatal attraction to each other, we all the ladies present there liked our friendship so much that instantly decided to form Urbana Ladies Group. Mrs. Kiran Ajay Agarwal took the lead and Mrs. Nidhi Goenka created a WhatsApp Group aptly titling Urbana Girls where only wives of Urbana Flat Owners or female members of the family can join. In less than 3 months the numbers swelled over 100 and still counting.

While as on date just 5 families have actually started living at Urbana, many have taken possession, started fit outs and looking forward to move in during this calendar year. Our group is formed for knowing each other as we are like an Urbana Family now and sharing the ideas and contacts for doing up the interiors of our flats.

The group is trying to befriend so strongly even before actual living at Urbana so that this friendship continues eternally. The biggest advantage of the group is sharing common information so that any problem faced by one member while moving in is not faced by others as they are suggesting solution to each other. Also helping each other in finding interior designers and materials vendors. Thus the teething trouble of moving to a new place is minimal. And simultaneously socializing and having fun of togetherness. The Ladies Group moves hand-in-hand with UWA in all activities. 

Frequent get together are hosted, first lunch-on outing was hosted at Flurry’s on 2nd April’16 where 20 members participated and next one at HakunaMatata on 2nd July’16 where all participating members had a blast. We also met during the Bengali New Year celebration hosted by BNRI on 23/24 April’16 and many turned on AGM held on 12th June’ 16. The group is planning for the next outing very soon.
